CASTLE OF AYRON
15th century castle, now a communal gîte with the Gîte de France label, where you can live the life of a castle in one of the three gîtes
The Ayron castle, dating from the 15th century, has been converted into a communal gîte with the Gîte de France label. You can live the life of a castle at a lower cost in one of the three gites it contains. The decoration is sober and simple. You can stroll through the pretty courtyard and, on the south side, under the impressive ashlar facade pierced with Renaissance windows and flanked by two imposing corner towers. Visits are also possible throughout the year by reservation to explore the underground passages and their Merovingian sarcophagi.
