How about taking your driving test in a Tesla? With Nouvel'R, Randy and Rudy have set themselves a challenge: to make new drivers more aware of ecological issues by offering them the chance to take their driving test behind the wheel of an electric and automatic car, or a manual car running on NGV (natural gas for vehicles). After all, the future belongs to automatics, and if not having to manage a gearshift reduces stress at exam time, why deprive yourself? The essentials of the vehicle are there: brake, gas pedal, steering wheel, indicators. With the two instructors, we focus on the driving environment, learning to observe and anticipate. A real bargain when you consider that a minimum of 13 hours is all you need to pass your test with an automatic gearbox, compared with 20 hours with a manual gearbox. And if you want to learn how to operate a gearshift lever, you can take an additional 7 hours' training with the driving school, which will issue a certificate. What a bargain!
