EXPO MUSEUM
Museum retracing the history of Brux, that of General Rivaud de La Raffinière and presenting a rich collection of butterflies.
A museum has been housed in the former farrier's house since 1995. On the first floor, temporary exhibitions by artists take place. In other rooms, photos and objects retrace the history of Brux. There's also a display of clothes from the Belle Époque. One room is devoted to the story of Empire general Rivaud de La Raffinière, an illustrious soldier from Poitou. The attic houses a grandiose collection of 15,000 butterflies from around the world. A private collection of paintings and tools from Cameroon is also on display.
