ÉGLISE SAINT-LÉGER
This church is of neo-Byzantine style, and dates from the very end of the 19th century
Sarcophagi from the High Middle Ages, discovered near the church, allow us to assume the existence of a place of worship from this period. The current church of Saint-Léger would have been built at the end of the 12th century, then embellished in the 13th century with wall paintings, including a Christ in majesty. In the 15th century, the Nativity, the Pieta, the martyrdom of Saint Sebastian were added... In the 18th century, a monumental altarpiece was installed and a new bell tower built. A funerary liter with the arms of the Saint-Georges family was painted on the upper parts of the walls.
