Every year, on the first Monday following August 15, the Chambérat welcomes thousands of people. The first written traces of the presence of this fair date back to 1742. It already attracted the world, for geographical reasons, the commune at the confluence of the Marche, the south Berry, the Combrailles and the Bourbonnais. Today it is 15 000 to 20 000 people who walk at the Chambérat and do their market with some 200 exhibitors. Cheese, melons, horses and donkeys are the essential ingredients of the Chambérat.
