MUSIK EN SUITES

For four days, 20 hotels in the department welcomed young virtuosos for an unusual and original classical music festival. In duos, trios, quartets or quintets, 24 musicians gave more than 80 concerts in rooms, living rooms, gardens... The Club des Accomodations de la Vienne wishes to show that these establishments, which cover the territory, are places of life and encounters. The seven groups selected by the Mister Haydn Academy or from the Pôle Aliénor Musique et Danse de Poitiers Nouvelle-Aquitaine offered a musical journey from Mozart to Schubert, passing by Edith Piaf, Michael Jackson, Metallica to Irish jig!
