The beginnings of distance education were made in 1939 to compensate for the disorganization of education due to the war. Today, the National Centre for Distance Education, under the authority of the Ministry of National Education, is at the service of all types of training (from kindergarten to university) and provides courses of all kinds. Diploma courses or not, preparation for competitive examinations, summer courses... In particular, during the Covid-19 crisis, it made a name for itself by making the "My Class at Home" system available to pupils for online teaching sessions. The head office is at Futuroscope.
