Around the fortified castle, the streets come alive, falcons and knights perform, and medieval music and dance resound.
On the third weekend in September, the medieval fair is in full swing in Château-Larcher. Numerous arts and crafts stalls and food shops are on hand to show off their creations or sample their delicacies. Demonstrations of traditional crafts are also taking place. Falconry and equestrian shows are staged in the Théâtre de Verdure. Snakes are also on show. Singing, dancing, medieval music, juggling, storytelling... the streets are alive with life. And don't miss the beggars' parade, always a sensation!
