BRASSERIE CHEZ JULIEN
Restaurant that honors local and short circuits, home cooking with a lounge atmosphere in Châtellerault.
Since 2015, Julien Gilbert has been cooking in the former Taverne de Maître Kanter, opened by his grandparents in 1978. He has kept the concept of decoration, with nevertheless a lounge where it is good to have a first or last drink in a lounge atmosphere. As for the restaurant, the emphasis is on short circuits and local products. Thus, everything is home-cooked. Julien will suggest you to taste his monkfish Thai style or the unavoidable sauerkraut and flambé tarts (from the old Tavern). A nice meat menu and a catering service complete the selection.
