Since 1994, at the beginning of June, the festival created by Patrick Fournier has been taking over the region. Every year, it's a chance to hunt out the nuggets and enjoy the big-name acts. If you like jazz, blues, swing, Latin rhythms and other world music, you know where to be these nine days of spring: in Châtellerault! In addition to paying concerts at the Salle de l'Angelarde, the communes of Grand Châtellerault will be hosting a host of discovery concerts and free jazz aperitifs. A major free concert is also held downtown. The festival even works in partnership with works councils, offering concerts in workplaces or for audiences with special needs.
