A pleasure garden reserved for the director of the Manufacture d'armes, now a magnificent garden, ideal for a picnic.
Treat yourself to a little city luxury and enjoy a summer picnic where the Vienne joins the Envigne canal, on the site of the former Manufacture d'armes. In the 19th century, this vegetable and ornamental garden was reserved for the director of the Manufacture, who lived on site, his family and friends. It had its own landing stage and two greenhouses. The site has been rehabilitated in recent years to become a botanical garden, with magnificent trees, where you can enjoy finding many species of plants or daydreaming on a bench.
