MAISON AMARO
After his apprenticeship and his first experience in Paris, Rémy Amaro wanted to leave the capital and open his own bakery-pastry shop. That's when he seized the opportunity to take over the one held by the Hayée couple, in November 2020. As for the bread, the traditional baguette with rye leaven is a sure value. In the mornings, gourmets will be won over by the flaky brioche with Charente-Poitou PDO butter or will be able to happily spread the homemade salted butter caramel. At noon, the sandwiches are out. The mouth-watering pastries are a sight to behold. The paris-brest are its specialty, but the harlequin or pink/raspberry/litchi macaroons are also to die for.
