A former coaching inn housed in a bourgeois residence in the lower town, the Lion d'Or hotel-restaurant is one of those traditional establishments that people love to visit for its authenticity. The chef, Yohann Laglaine, concocts regional specialties, which he showcases in the menu terroir (farci poitevin, lamb, broyé, grimolle...). The plates are gourmet, the service meticulous and the restaurant delivers on its promise of good value for money. In summer, take advantage of the lovely terrace.
