The Cherves mill and cultural farm, the last witness to a milling heritage.
Built at the end of the 17th century, the mill is the last survivor of the 8 mills that existed in the commune of Cherves. Equipped with a pair of millstones, its only function was to grind wheat, testifying to the small, simple and not very mechanized mills that existed in the Vienne until the 20th century. The site also includes a bread oven and a forge, all of which are housed in a 15th century farmhouse that houses a museum.
