MARATHON POITIERS-FUTUROSCOPE

Good stride and running sneakers a must! It's the annual rendezvous for running enthusiasts. In April, experienced, occasional and motivated runners sign up for the race of their choice, from the 5 and 10 km Tout Poitiers Court events on Saturday afternoons from 5pm in the Parc de Blossac, to the half-marathon and marathon on Sunday mornings for early risers (8.30am). Set off on a 21 or 42-kilometer course, from downtown Poitiers to the Futuroscope site in Chasseneuil-du-Poitou! The starting gun goes off in Place du Maréchal Leclerc. The finish line is crossed in front of the Futuroscope Palais des Congrès. The atmosphere is sporty and friendly. The roads are blocked off for the occasion, and a large number of supporters turn out to cheer on the courageous runners! Let's go, let's go!
