Poitou is one of the regions where Romanesque art has flourished the most. This church is one of the many examples. Dated from the 12th century, it has often been reworked over the centuries. The facade of a great sobriety shelters a portal with sculpted capitals and a cornice with arcatures with picturesque modillions: a musical donkey, a bird with a human head and other fantastic beasts... Above, two statues, one of which is of the Annunciation.
