RURAL MUSEUM AND FIRE MUSEUM OF LA VIEILLARDIÈRE
Housed in a former farmhouse, this rural museum recounts life in the countryside and also includes a fire museum on the history of the fire department.
Located at La Vieilllardière, the rural museum was once a farm belonging to the Fontmaure priory (1235). Acquired by the commune in 1990, it has been converted into a museum. Run by volunteers from the Espérance association, you'll discover several areas devoted to agriculture, with farm machinery and craftsmen's workshops. The attic houses the Fire Museum, dedicated to the history of the fire department and its impressive collection of objects.
