The Saint-Baptiste church is one of the last witnesses of the important religious past of Charroux.
This church, classified in historic monuments in 1912, is one of the last witnesses to the important religious past of Charroux. The oldest part is its choir, built from the th century. The steeple lost most of its boom, which was probably high in the th century. The base consists of a square massif with a octagonal level, pierced by eight Gothic windows featuring two lancets and one quadrilobe, finely carved. Outside of the building, the remains of a fortified book added to Gothic times above the southern croisillon which touched the city walls, as well as the northern door, also Gothic door, allow access to the bell tower tower.
