THE HALLS
These halls are classified as historical monuments
What a beauty these halls of Lusignan! We owe them to the architects L'Héritier and Rose who, in 1853, on the site of the medieval halls, designed an absolutely magnificent framework with wooden cabochons, supported by two rows of eight wooden posts dividing the space into three paved bays (a central hall and two lateral lean-to buildings). Pillars, preceded by columns with sculpted capitals, mark the corners of the halls. Classified as historical monuments, these covered halls were built at a time when metal frames were all the rage.
