Museum allowing to discover some treasures through a modern, playful and didactic scenography
Located in the contemporary La Sabline building, this prehistory museum has treasures. Not far from there, near the pond, 14,000 years ago, a dozen caves, including that of La Marche, were inhabited. An important number of materials, including thousands of engraved stones, were found there during archaeological excavations. These are some examples of this ensemble that can be discovered here through a modern, playful and didactic scenography. The engraved portraits surprise us by the expressiveness of the faces, sometimes almost caricatural.
