The action of the Conservatory is based on large missions that are known, protected, managed, valued, discussed and accompanied. The Conservatory regularly carries out inventories of fauna and flora to identify sites hosting rare or threatened species and/or natural habitats requiring conservation actions. It manages biodiversity in diverse environments: orchids rich in orchids, alluvial sites in Val d 'Allier and Val de Loire, sites with bats, mares, lanterns, wetlands… In addition to its role as manager of natural spaces, the Conservatory informs and sensitizes residents, partners, the general public, through site visits, nature outflows, brochures, pedagogical signs, slide shows, participatory sites… At the Sport and Nature Festival, you can take part in a guided hike on the Val d 'Allier, make a sightseeing tour and enjoy an exhibition.
