The Maison de Pays du Val du Clan, a pretty showcase for the department, is located on the RN10 in Mirebeau.
Here we are slightly beyond the Mirebalais borders, in the commune of Dissay, but whatever. This nice little window in the department on the edge of the RN 10 is worth a visit. It offers an appetising choice of local products: wines from Haut-Poitou, macaroons, crushed, terrine, stuffed, melon - other great speciality of Upper Poitou -, biquette cheeses, etc… The shop puts the products forward and saliva in front of all these dishes. The wines are also presented, what to do a good little refuelling on the road of return!
