SAINT-ANDRÉ PRIORY
A beautiful priory founded in 1052, located in the village, with a very original pepperpot and a completely renovated church
Very nice building located in the village, rue Pasteur, this Benedictine priory, rare for the region, was founded in 1052. Of course, it cannot be visited outside of the Heritage Days (13th century chapter house, made of limestone, remarkable with its curved Gothic vaults), but you can contemplate, from the outside, its very original pepperpot and the Saint-André church, entirely renovated, which is attached to it, connected by a door pierced in the south aisle and opening onto a small gallery. The church is no longer consecrated, but can be rented.
