ATELIER CLAUDE PACAUD
The painting of Claude Pacaud, the artist born in Tunisia, leaves us indifferent. In 1998, he finally swapped his tobacco office for his attic, where the brushes were waiting. Shimmering colours, electric blue, asymmetric forms, and then canvases that reveal childhood landscapes, monuments emblematic of its city of belonging, boats or animals… The hand of the masterpiece manie the technique of la to perfection. In his studio-gallery where he shares his works with the public, the artist marries the abstract to the figurative and defines his subjects according to the various journeys he could make and which constitute his main source of inspiration (Provence, New York). In the past, he paid tribute to Vazarely and Sonia Delaunay by producing a series of cubistes paintings.
