A traditional Indian cuisine to taste in a very welcoming restaurant in Poitiers.
Poitiers is home to many monuments. But did you know that nestled between Notre-Dame church and Saint-Pierre cathedral is the palace of traditional Indian cuisine? The Taj Mahal is a very welcoming restaurant. Husband and wife team Indu and Jeya take great care of both the dining room and the kitchen. Their meats, fish and breads are spit-roasted in the tandoori oven. To discover Indian cuisine, choose from one of the menus on offer: vegetarian, Taj Mahal, gastronomic... Don't leave without trying the pistachio, cashew and almond ice cream. A real treat! And if you're looking for an introduction to Indian dance, Indu can recommend an address in Poitiers!

I fell in love with those dishes even though it was my first time trying it.
The curry rice is full of pleasant spice aroma and has moderate spiciness, making it suitable for who comes the first time.
The rest of the spices sauces are just so fulfilled with its specialty that I was amazed.
Though some dishes I coudn't call their names, each one is full of miracle taste!
