AU P'TIT VIETNAM
Vietnamese family recipes, homemade cooked by the chef Thi Nhu Y in Poitiers.
You have to sneak behind the door to queue up to the counter and order. You will be greeted by Thi Nhu Y with a big smile. She is the one who cooks the family recipes. Everything is home-made, on the spot. You can take your order with you or you can sit upstairs, in the small room with a ceiling covered with Vietnamese trays. On the walls, photos of Vietnam, we travel. Through the window, a superb view on the Palace of Poitiers. On our tray, a bò bún, egg rolls and a bánh bao, a stuffed bun cooked in the steam. The jasmine iced tea was a delight. It's fresh, we almost believe it, we enjoyed it. For dessert, we recommend the banana cake with coconut milk.
