This restaurant lives up to its name, because if there's one place you've got to stop, it's the L'Escale brasserie. The restaurant specializes in meats, pizzas (for every 9 pizzas you take away, the tenth is free), fish... sometimes all prepared in the Charentaise style. A large all-you-can-eat buffet of starters (accompanied by a main course). There's plenty of parking, even if you're driving a lorry, and in summer there's a terrace where you can soak up the sun. You'll immediately notice and be seduced by the warmly colored "English pub on a station platform" style. The menu changes every three months.

Pizza copieuse et bonne.
Parfait pour un midi.
Ça manque de musique, le lieux manque de joie.
Par contre c'est trop cher. Un ramequin de fromage blanc avec un coulis de fruits rouges à 7,5€ faut le savourer à ce tarif et les plats c'est traditionnel et pas exceptionnel. Le pain au compte goutte c'est moyen.
Je n'y retournerai pas.
