On lines 4 and 5, close to the exit of the A 10 motorway, the shopping gallery of Poitiers Sud offers many services and houses Auchan, the great sign to the green and Red bird. Auchan has its origins in the north, in the Upper Champs area in Roubaix. The sign at the bird first started in the vicinity of Lille before winning the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region and then the whole France. It now counts among the largest European distributors and it is not by chance. Its niche: tackling life by offering a wide range of products and quality, starting with products'inches'up to 40% cheaper than the big brands! While Auchan was known for the sobriety of his stores, they have undergone many developments since the early 2000 s and now constitute real life centres. That of Poitiers South is no exception.
