CIRQUE OCTAVE SINGULIER

If you'd like to recapture the sensations of childhood by getting up close and personal with the world of the circus, this is THE place to go! For several years now, the Cirque Octave Singulier team has taken up residence on the Poitiers university campus, in large circus tents erected at Beaulieu, but they also have traveling tents that they move around the villages according to demand. Some twenty traveling shows are performed each year, compared with thirty or so on site. Poitiers offers a wide range of circus arts activities. More terrestrial? Come and train your dexterity in the joys of juggling, for example! And if you're drawn to the air, flying trapeze is for you! Weekly workshops and other courses are planned throughout the year: for children aged 4 and over, half-day or full-day activities are scheduled during the school vacations. Evening classes are also held twice a week for adults. And because art is for everyone, the circus also welcomes the deaf and hard-of-hearing, as well as the multi-handicapped. It also rents out bleachers and big tops for receptions and other events (festivals, concerts...). It has 2,000 m² of white Garden tents.
