Let your body express itself, your emotions, and show beauty by interpreting and letting your creativity speak through personal compositions in dance, music or theater. Hard work at the Conservatoire de Grand Poitiers is a must, and you'll need a lot of practice to get the most out of yourself and enjoy yourself. Whether you're an amateur or a seasoned performer, you can join the cycle that's right for you, from an early age. Classified as a "regional institution", the Conservatoire has over 1,400 students, mainly musicians (1,160), but also dancers (250) and actors (50). It strives to ensure a greater presence in the city's various neighborhoods, through activities in schools, collaboration with neighborhood associations, and decentralized dissemination as part of festivals. It also organizes the Prima la Musica season at Poitiers' Auditorium Saint-Germain (7 shows a year), the Ecoutez voir! festival in June and the Vox Musica festival.
