LA GANTERIE

If you want to take a dip outdoors in Poitiers, seven days a week, even in winter temperatures, head for La Ganterie. The colorful outdoor pool features a 50 m-long, 1.80 m-deep Olympic Nordic pool. Heated with straw from the district heating network, the water temperature is 27°C. Its retractable wall can accommodate both the general public and sports clubs. Inside, swimmers can do their laps in the 25 m x 15 m pool, and little ones can splash around in the learning pool, unless they prefer the play area and its water jets outside.
