AFEV POITIERS

For over 20 years, AFEV has been combating social and educational inequalities by offering students the chance to give a little of their time (2 hours a week) to support a child or young person in difficulty in disadvantaged neighborhoods. The association's projects are concrete: pairing up students (mentors) with young people aged 5 to 18 with educational difficulties, to help them regain their self-confidence. But also to prepare young people with no qualifications for apprenticeships, or to help them with their career planning. In practice, the 2-hour commitment is scheduled to fit in with each individual's timetable, and training is automatically provided.
