MEDIATHÈQUE DE LA BLAISERIE

The Médiathèque library is an integral part of the socio-cultural centre. This is one of the annexes to François Mitterrand's media library. With a fund of 25 000 books, 1 500 Cds, 1 000 Dvds and 70 newspapers empruntables, its main asset remains its theatrical fund, with several thousand documents. The Office of the Authors, founded almost 30 years ago, offers the public 400 classical plays as contemporary, dvds where interviews contradict masterclass. The specificity of classification makes another strong point: theatre, amateures and professional troops can thus search for coins by number of actions or by many actors. Let us note, finally, that the fund of works in parlange (poitevin-saintongeais) is enough… Contes moments in patois are regularly organized by the library. The three little pigs become the three little pullets, but the funny ones understand what it is!
