MOUNTAIN FOOTBRIDGE
A sea snake behind the Boivre… Between the square of the Boivre-New (small green impasse accessible from Bajon Boulevard, near the former Lycée secondary school) and the rue de Montbernage, the bridge is a beautiful and light steel deck with a wooden floor weighing 26 tonnes, measuring 60 metres in length and 3 metres in width, of which 2,50 meters are usable by pedestrians and cyclists. The bridge has been designed to gently integrate into this green landscape and the finely cut balustrade is reminiscent of the foliage of neighbouring trees. Finally, the security issue, the December 1982 flood flood was taken into account to set the bridge at 50 cm above the highest known waters. In short, here is a walk between the city centre and the Quartiers and Couronneries districts that the Smart offers you.
