L’ATELIER DU PAIN
It is difficult to put a label on this store. It is safe and the delicious smell that tickle our nostrils when we come back proves this. But Françoise and Didier Plaud have other assets in their sleeve. Tea salon, tarterie, salad or cocktail, they offer all these restorations on site or to take away. If there is a perpetual card, Françoise regularly offers salads and ponctuelles ad hoc depending on season or calendar events. We have thus been able to taste a autumn salad consisting of dried fruit, haddock, chewing, red beets and roquefort and more recently a gourmet salad composed of a mixture of salad, chestnut, foie gras and duck magret for the Christmas season. This is the restoration side. But the bakery side is not left, quite the opposite. Here everything is done from A to Z and Didier Plaud is there, there is no frozen dough! Raw materials are processed in the establishment and Mr Plaud cook his Bread in front of you, since from the store you saw on the furnaces. For these breads, Mr Plaud does not lack ideas. An Alchemist of flavours, it mixes flour, yeast, fruits and other ingredients as a true magician. Seed bread, bread in the county, squirrel bread (hazelnuts and raisins), or apple bread, blueberry and cinnamon, as many varieties as different opportunities to taste them.
