ARARAT MIX MARKET
In Armenia, Ararat is the country's sacred mountain. It is in reference to this place that is dear to them that the couple Anush and Haykaz Avetisyan opened a small Armenian grocery store on the Place des Trois-Cités. Behind the cash register, some local handicrafts, dolls and aprons embroidered with the colours of the country. On the shelves, essential products such as basturma (beef sausage), soudjouk (spicy sausage), lavash (traditional bread). Armenian wine and cognacs are placed at the top of the shelves. There are also many Russian (commonly spoken by the owners), Turkish and Georgian products. Russian candies by the kilo, ice creams that local children love, pickled vegetables, abundant sunflower seeds and wheat in all its forms. The new recipes are yours!
