THE VALLEY OF THE MONKEYS
A nature visit for the whole family in an animal park located in Romagne where primates are kings and evolve in freedom.
It's a visit the whole family will love! This is no ordinary wildlife park. Here, primates are king. Created in 1998, La Vallée des Singes is a place of entertainment, knowledge of the wild world and ecological awareness. Since its creation, the park's main objective has been to contribute to the protection of nature, the environment and primates. Here, we stroll alongside them, so close that we have to remember to pack up our belongings. They'd love to bite into our sandwiches or steal our sunglasses! Take your time on the shady paths. They're right there with you, in the trees. Saïmiris and capuchins twirl from branch to branch. The day is punctuated by feeding sessions, during which the guides teach us more about each species, like the maki catta, which you almost want to pet. Over 450 primates of some thirty species from all over the world roam the 22-hectare park. You can admire the strength of Yaoundé, the male gorilla, as well as the hectic lives of the bonobos and Europe's largest chimpanzee territory. Take your time and spend the day in their company. With over 800 births since its creation, the Vallée des Singes is a park like no other. It has even created the Conservatory for the Protection of Primates. Sponsor a monkey and take part in primate conservation. An extraordinary visit!
