BEAUMONT GROUP
Beaumont Group is the French leader in gift wrapping. Located in the Vienne region, this company produces 40 to 45% of the rolls of gift wrap purchased by French households. Recognition of this industrial know-how, it has also obtained the Origine France Garantie label.
History. It all began in 1947 with the creation of the Papeterie du Poitou in Buxerolles. This family business originally designed paper for butcher shops, before specializing 20 years later in gift wrapping. Since 1967, its fame has conquered the whole of France and has begun to spread internationally. A very rapid development has required investment in the most modern technological processes. In 1996, the company changed its address and set up on a 20,000 m² industrial site in the town of Beaumont. The company, until then family-owned, then took the name Beaumont Group in 2003 and changed hands in 2008 - it is now owned by Nicole Plumer, Pascal Pellegrin and Raphaël Montois.
The products. Beaumont Group's catalogue offers 4,000 items available from stock: gift bags, carrier bags, small rolls, counter reels and other packaging accessories. Beaumont Group takes care of the "look" of its products, so a third of its range is renewed every year according to trends.
Employment. Beaumont Group employs 65 people and prints 14 million metres of gift wrap at its Beaumont site. This represents a turnover of €12 million.
