LA P'TITE SAUVETTE

La P'tite Sauvette is a market gardener based in Saint-Sauvant, in the Vienne region of France. Owners Marianne and Benjamin grow organic vegetables on 2 hectares of land. Their approach focuses on the diversity and seasonality of their produce. They use greenhouses to guarantee year-round production, and adopt environmentally-friendly practices such as mulching and water saving. Their tractors are used responsibly, without abuse. They favor short circuits, selling their vegetables at local markets and in baskets. They belong to two producers' collectives, which enables them to offer their produce online.
