LES TAMARIS
Former café turned restaurant with a 20-seat bistro section and a 24-seat gourmet section, a must-see
In Saint-Sauveur, with the magnificent church of Saint-Antoine du Sauveur la Foucaudière in the background, the former café has been restored into a pleasant restaurant. Richard Robe and his wife Sophie decided to make it their home. Born in Manchester, Richard Robe moved to Normandy when he was a teenager. After gaining a CAP in catering, he moved to Paris to gain experience working for top restaurants and renowned chefs. He became head chef at the Parisian palace Le Vernet for 11 years. In La Vienne, he aims to offer both bistronomic (20 seats) and gastronomic (24 seats) cuisine. The waiters are very attentive, and the sommelier is always ready to give good advice. Based on fresh, local produce, the dishes are delicious. Just-cooked, with well-balanced sauces, the flavors blend perfectly, always with a touch of originality. It's a real treat for the eyes and the taste buds. The moment is delicious. It's up to you to succumb!
