Set up on the site of an old water mill, on the banks of the Gartempe, run by Angélique and Anthony, this campsite has 43 pitches, in the shade of secular trees, with some leisure accommodation (3 lodges and 2 mobile tents), as well as three gîtes (4 people) and a 10-bed stopover gîte. A room of 100 m² located on the first floor of the mill is at the disposal of the campers and the users of the lodges (TV, library, tables and chairs).

Camping municipal Le Moulin de la Gassotte 86310 Saint-Savin
Très bon accueil dans le Camping Le Moulin de la Gassotte, dans le respect des règles sanitaires. Sur les bords de la Gartempe, ce camping est très agréable, bien entretenu, proche de la ville et des principaux lieux et bâtiments à visiter à Saint-Savin. Les emplacements pour camping-caristes sont grands, ombragés, en pelouse ou en dur. Des locations de gîtes et gîte d'étape sont également disponibles. Il existe aussi des aménagements de loisirs, telles l'aire de jeux pour enfants et la salle TV-bibliothèque, et il est possible de réaliser pêche et sorties en canoë. Ouvert à l'année et pratiquant des prix raisonnables, ce camping est assurément une adresse à conserver.
