This site, which was an agglomeration of the ancient Picton territory, organizes incredible parties in its theater ruins.
In the Vonne valley, the Gallo-Roman site of Sanxay, occupied from the 1st to the 4th century, was an important agglomeration of the ancient Picton territory, whose prestige is revealed by the remains discovered by Father Camille de La Croix from 1881 to 1883: an important thermal complex, a 6,000 m² sanctuary and a theatre that could hold up to 6,500 spectators. In August, don't miss the incredible Soirées Lyriques organised in the ruins of the Gallo-Roman theatre!
