Romanesque church from the end of the 11th to the beginning of the 12th century, with a bell tower-porch, a unique nave and a crypt with wall paintings from the 13th century.

Adjacent to the castle and dominating the charming village of Morthemer, the church of Notre-Dame was built at the end of the 11th and the beginning of the 12th century. It then became a collegiate church. This Romanesque building was modified in the Gothic period. Admire the bell tower-porch when you enter. It is a single nave church with five bays. The crypt has Gothic-style wall paintings dating from the 13th century. It was intended to receive the lordly tombs.
