Bison breeding in the woods and plains of Poitou, transforming the meat in the farm's workshop, to see and taste
A bison farm in Poitou... it's unique! Since 1993, Germain and now Francelys Redin have been raising more than 300 animals on 180 hectares, making it one of the largest in Europe. Fed on grass and hay, the bison graze quietly in the woods and plains. From this breeding are drawn pieces of butcher (roast, pavé...). The meat is also transformed in the workshop of the farm, on the spot, in sausages, terrines (with hazelnuts, with morels...), sausages... Don't hesitate to come and see them and taste them afterwards!
