A site of more than 180 m long which has about twenty rooms connected by a network of galleries with different structures.
A true hidden heritage of the Haut-Poitou, the troglodytes of La Tourette are a network of underground passages from the medieval period. They were used between the 9th and 17th centuries, mainly for storage. The site has about twenty rooms connected by a network of galleries stretching over 180 meters long, with different structures: silos, benches, feeding troughs, as well as a curious underground dovecote containing nearly 500 boulins.
