Chapel in Allos, richly decorated between 1857 and 1859 by the painter Fidèle Patritti
The Saint-Sébastien chapel is a penitents' chapel used in the 18th century. Also known as the winter chapel, it dates back to the 17th century and its vault was completely rebuilt after a fire in 1833. Richly decorated between 1857 and 1859 by the painter Fidèle Patritti, who left his artistic mark throughout the Ubaye valley, the chapel features several frescoes, including The Last Supper in the central section and Saint Sebastian on the dome.
