STROLL IN THE GORGES DE CHOUVIGNY
On a sunny day, take the car direction the gorges of Chouvigny, over a dozen kilometres, you will longerez this massif of microgranit of extreme hardness, with varied and amazing shapes! Stop at Péraclos, follow the path in the basement leading to a unique lookout, composed of blocks of rocks appearing to represent coarse dog profiles, and a micaschiste table, seeming to be an altar that receives at all times the sunlight and warmth of the sun, thus combining solar cult with water-related fertility. Go by car to follow the Sioule in the valley, for a little further to visit the castle of Chouvigny, continue your way to make a new stop at Roc Armand which dominates the 25 metre road, built in climbing wall, and which has a rudimentary staircase to reach the summit. Then take the road to pass under the tunnel dug in the rock, if you wish you can still continue until the bridge of Menat and Château-Rocher. Other way of walking, canoeing, to enjoy the show from a different angle!
