Restaurant with terrace serving pancakes and mountain recipes in Barcelonnette
In Barcelonnette's old town, the terrace of Du (with a Y) occupies a corner of the pedestrian street. We come to André first for his pancakes because he has long eaten his specialities in buckwheat, salted, sweet or ice cream… It is a real puzzle to choose from the 60 varieties of the card, 30 salted and 30 sweet, from € 6 to € 7. But it's not his only talent because André is also gifted with the stove to simmer a old kitchen made of vegetable recipes, pick of ravioles, leg roasted… mixed skewers of mixed fish… You can taste all mountain recipes as famous or fondues, and delicious homemade Mexican préparées… Let's reassure you, the dynamic boss is doing this duality well. The staff were friendly and helpful. And génépi will you ask? It comes with the addition, to turn your head around.

Les crêpes sucrées sont quant à elles très bonnes. Dommage que la mention "crêperie" ne soit pas appliquée à l'entièreté du repas.

La cuisse de canard confite ne l’était pas. Viande sèche. Pas de sauce. Frite industriel. Présentation cantine dans l’assiette.
Idem pour la joue de porc confite…
Une arnaque pour le prix.
Tenez vous en aux crêpes ou aux planchettes.
