2 star hotel-restaurant offering regional cuisine with excellent value for money.

I fell in love with this hotel-restaurant located on the main square of Castellane which offers an excellent quality-price ratio. Isabel's generosity can be felt in the rooms as well as in the dishes. The hotel offers 10 rooms for 2 to 4 people, with individual bathrooms and toilets. The cuisine is typically regional, such as the pistou soup, but the house does not renounce its specialties far from the local flavors: the Portuguese cod, the feijoada of octopus or pork and provides an additional reason to stop here.

Opening time and information on HÔTELLERIE DU ROC

Open all year round. Except in November and December until the Christmas vacations. Restaurant closed on Mondays and Sunday evenings in winter (and on Mondays the rest of the year). Single menu at 29 €. Menu from 17 € to 24 €. Children's menu: 11 €. (between 12€ and 13€). Double rooms from 60€ to 80€ depending on the season. Vacation vouchers. For the veranda. Baby chairs. Terrace.

De passage pour une seule nuit, accueil très sympathique, chambre agréable et propre, la gérante s'est levée 1/2 heure plus tôt pour nous préparer le petit déjeuner un dimanche car nous devions partir tôt.
Je recommande le restaurant, plats et service impeccables.
Seul petit bémol : le radiateur de la salle de bain ne fonctionnait pas mais celui de la chambre suffisait largement à chauffer les deux pièces donc pas de problème.

Déjeuner au restaurant hôtel du Roc de Castellane. Lieu et ambiance familiales. Personnel à l’écoute, dévoué et sympathique malgré une salle comble. Plats simples mais bons. Spécialités Portugaise mais limitées en quantité ce qui prouve que le fait maison est de la partie dans ce petit resto. J’ai passé un agréable moment, prix raisonnable et parking tout autour de la place dispo ( bon bien sûr, on n’est pas en pleine saison estivale ).
