Naturist center in the Alps offering good facilities for windsurfing, canoeing and fishing
The Castillon de Provence is one of the few naturist centres of the Alps (even though it is far from the high snow-capped peaks south of Digne), close to the hinterland of the Côte d'Azur. It is maintained by Dutch owners, Justus and Annemiek Dierick, installed here with their children. Note that the restoration of the access path makes it easier to arrive at this centre, which extends over 47 hectares of unspoilt nature at nearly 1 000 metres of altitude. If we do not really benefit from the mountains, at least we can enjoy a superb Alpine lake - Lake Castillon - in the crystal clear waters where not only bathing - and beach bronzing with direct access from the centre after a naturist walk of about 20 minutes - but also windsurfing, canoeing and fishing. High-level equipment, including a new 19 x 10 pool with integrated paddling pool and a brand new sanitary payload. Free spirit campers will particularly appreciate the choice made by this centre, which does not lack space that consists of allowing everyone a "free choice of installation in a wild nature" without marked locations! Of course, we are not distancing ourselves too much - according to its needs - from quality health-care blocks - one accessible to people with disabilities - but it is based on its desire for freedom. Entertainment for children with a playground and a mini club, sports such as volleyball, archery or golfing on the farm, Sunday's picnic on the beach and prepared meals to complement a beautiful array of nature and space. Ambiance and fun guaranteed!
